You basically have two choices when it comes to the way a picture is printed. You can either pick ink or laser. Color inkjet uses, well, ink. Laser printing is the printer of choice for those who want lightning fast printing and a lower cost per page compared to inkjets. Another variation, the color laser printing is a higher quality style of printing but has a higher cost.

Wireless connectivity

Because of the technology that we have today, you have the option of picking a printer that has wireless connectivity. This means that you can use the printer even without hooking your computer to it. Through Wi-Fi, you can use your laptop and other mobile devices to print materials.

  1. I now have a printer at home with wireless connectivity. And unless you try one for yourself, you will never see how convenient and easy a wireless printer is. This is especially true if you are going to use mobile devices like laptops and phones or tablets when printing.

  2. I think the size of paper that you will print on should also be considered. If you are going to print a lot of A3s and bigger papers, then you have to get a unit that will allow sizes that big. But these printers will also cost you more. For those who are only to use papers with these sizes once or twice, it would be better to choose a smaller printer.

  3. You also have to consider the print quality and print speed. But with the print quality, the separation lines are becoming more and more blurry because of the improvement in technology for both inkjets and laser. I think it is just a matter of preference nowadays. By the way, I have both kinds in my home.
